Tsukiji Market Tour with Edo-style Sushi Class (4 Hours)
Kenji’s food tour was a phenomenal experience with true depth and passion. From the tour of the Tsujiki food market, to the purchase of the necessary ingredients to prepare the sushi, to the preparation of sushi and then subsequent consumption, every step of the way was filled with history, humor, and brightness that Kenji’s personality allows. I learned so much from each part of the experience and I am forever benefitted and educated from it. I highly recommend attending Kenji’s class and tour as it will leave you more cultured and knowledgeable about sushi and Japanese fish food markets.

Wonderful tour! Kenji took us through the market to spots we never would have discovered & thought us a lot about history and Japanese culture. He was very happy to customize the tour just for us. Highly recommended!

Tsukiji Market Tour with Edo-style Sushi Class (4 Hours)
The three of us booked a private experience with Kenji. He took us through the market, where we purchased fish for our preparation. That was quite an experience. After a short train ride to his neighborhood, he then taught us how to prepare the fish and rice for sushi. This is a fantastic class for anybody that has thought about doing this themselves. Great individual instruction. Kenji is very informative and enthusiastic.

Kenji was an excellent guide our 1st day in Tokyo. He helped create an itinerary for our family of 4 including 2 teenage boys that included a great blend of historical sites, food and shopping. He went out of his way to take us to shops and food stalls we never would have found on our own. It was a great way to get the lay of the city at the start of our trip. Kenji is an enthusiastic and curious guide, highly recommended.

We had an amazing time in our tours. Our tour guide was always on time. He showed us everything planned and went way and beyond to met our expectations. Very friendly and was teaching us and showing us even though some places were very busy. Always on time, with a smile and excellent social skills. Thank you so much and will be coming back for sure!

Kenji was great! Highly recommend. We had a family tour with an 11 and 14yo who liked sushi, origami, and Pokémon. Kenji customized our tour to fit in cultural sites, hit all the city highlights we wanted, ate great affordable delicious sushi, and lots of time for the kids to buy little treasures. It was the best family tour we’ve ever done. Everyone ended happy (which at this age is a real feat). Also Kenji taught the kids how to take sushi pictures with their phones. We learned a lot and it was a perfect pace. Thank you Kenji!!!
