Ebiso Yokosho is a covered Shibuya street lined with izakayas (bars). Each tiny pub only seats 12 or so patrons at a time but is lively and welcoming. In the past, izakayas were mostly for middle-aged men, but today, they’re frequented by people from all walks of life. They all serve drinks but may have different foods like oden (hot pot), yakitori (grilled skewers), and okonomiyaki (omelets).
