Nihonbashi, Tokyo

"The first sushi bar to offer Toro (tuna belly), dating back to the 1800s."
Yoshino Sushi Honten is a historic restaurant that has served sushi in Nihonbashi since 1879. It was the first sushi bar in Tokyo to put toro (fatty tuna belly) on the menu. It’s now the star dish on the menu, thanks to the tuna’s delicious taste and smooth texture. Another popular item is tomagoyaki, cooked egg over sushi rice. This restaurant has lunch sets of varying sizes that are all fairly priced.
