  We LOVED this tour and it was a huge highlight on our trip. The guide and driver were so helpful and kind. It was safe and each stop was not only well planned, but a great use of our time on the trip. We’d do this tour again and highly recommend!

  As someone who doesn’t eat pork, I felt like I was missing out on authentic Vietnamese dishes as I toured Hanoi, but then I was introduced to Rose’s food tour, and now, I can’t recommend her enough! First, Rose asked what I had already sampled and she customized my food excursion to taste dishes originally from Hanoi, and other parts of the country - all delicious, unique and pork free! Rose also shared with me a brief history of Vietnam, and explained why the buildings in the Old Quarter were so narrow and occupied by so many families. She has an incredible depth of knowledge of the culture and cuisine, which made the experience so much more than just a food tour, and she was able to explain everything in perfect English! Rose’s food tour was recommended to me by a friend and now I recommend her to you!

  Rose was absolutely delightful on our food tour. She considered all of our local favorites and also gave us several new amazing dishes we hadn't heard of. She was wonderfully energetic and shared fascinating information not just about the food culture but about all aspects of Vietnam’s rich history.

  Hanoi Backstreet Motorbike Tour: Train Street and Best Street Food (4 Hours)

  Nhung, or Rose, which her name translated to English was a treasure to work with. I have traveled extensively, Vietnam being my 79th country to visit. Of the many guides I have worked with Rose is one of the very best. One thing that always makes a difference is how well they speak your native tongue, English in my case. Rose had an exceptional grasp of English, a formidable vocabulary, and spoke with little accent. She was also knowledgeable on the locale, history, and customs and shared her knowledge freely. She was also very flexible with her time and the itinerary, often following my last minute changes in plans. I could go on with my praises but suffice it to say I have no reservations in recommending her services.

  Initially we were quite reluctant to get a guide, but after our experience with Rose, we knew that was the best decision ever made. Rose is very prompt in replying, this made the pre trip planning a breeze. Rose was never late, she always reaches before the time, at least 10-15mins. The transport she arranged is also already waiting for you. Rose is extremely knowledgeable.
