Once called the "Hanoi Hilton," Hỏa Lò Prison used to be one of the most notorious prisoner-of-war camps. Now, it's a museum largely focused on how the Vietnamese suffered at the hands of the French. For a fee of 50,000 VND per person, locals and tourists can visit this historic site daily, even on holidays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
