Miradouro Santo Estêvão Viewpoint
"This little-known viewpoint feels like the living room of many residents and regular visitors to Alfama."
Licensed Tour Guide
Lisbon Local

This relaxing viewpoint is just a three-minute walk from Alfama’s Fado museum. It is in Santo Estêvão Square, home to the eponymous church dating back to the 12th century. Here, you can take in views of the Tejo River, the red-tiled roofs of the houses below, and the colorful mosaics on neighboring buildings. A visit to this tranquil spot is lovely at any hour, but its sunset views are breathtaking.
