"Less panoramic than some viewpoints, but offering a more romantic atmosphere. Featuring tiled niches for seating, it provides a charming view of bougainvilleas and large tile panels depicting key moments in Portuguese history."

Lisbon Local

One of the best ways to see the Alfama neighborhood is from this lookout next to the Santa Luzia Church. Its splash of colorful bougainvilleas, ornamental azulejos tiles, and stunning views make it one of Lisbon’s most romantic spots. Like its neighbor Portas do Sol, it is particularly spectacular at sunrise. The view here displays a living portrait of Alfama from several interesting angles.
