Oltrarno, Florence & Countryside

"Born as a private villa of the city’s most famous art dealer, this garden offers a more exclusive view on the whole city, away from the crowds. If you visit in spring make sure to check out the lavender tunnel. "
In the 16th century, this was an Italian garden with grottoes and statues. In the 19th century, it was transformed into a garden with English and Chinese influences while still holding onto past elements. Today, you can walk the four hectares of greenery and see flowerbeds, fruit orchards, pergolas, and a variety of exotic plants. There are also great views of Florence and its landmarks. General tickets cost €10 with discounts available.
