The Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum is one of the country's most important cultural institutions. It focuses on inspiring local and international visitors, especially youths. The building, which sits at 66 Nguyễn Thái Học Street in Hanoi, was originally erected during the French colonial period as a boarding school for French officials' daughters. It reopened as a museum in 1966, and permanent and temporary exhibitions have been on display since.
