Đống Đa, Hanoi

"A peaceful garden thats full of history. Once a University in Vietnam, it became a temple where locals worship for exam and graduation ceremonies."
The Temple of Literature dates back to 1070 and was Vietnam’s first national university. The temple itself is dedicated to Confucius and scholars and is a popular place for students to make offerings during exams or graduations. It has several courtyards, gates, and pavilions with interesting architecture. The Temple of Literature is the site of the Spring Calligraphy Festival, a cultural event that highlights this Vietnamese art form.
