Mexico City’s main university campus is home to a modern art museum that’s become a local hangout. Opened in 2008, this brutalist space focuses on art created since the 1950s, mainly by Mexican artists. Here, you’ll find paintings, sculptures, performances, and even video and sound installations. There’s also a big sculpture garden outside featuring a towering piece by famous Mexican artist Rufino Tamayo.
