This underrated place dates back to around 800 BCE, predating the famous Teotihuacan. During your visit, take a walk around the ruins, which include a large circular pyramid. A small museum on-site provides context and displays artifacts found during excavations. Be sure to check out the nearby lava fields, remnants of the Xitle volcano eruption.
