1st arrondissement, Paris

"A fun park for families, featuring trampolines, a historic carousel, and places to buy ice cream."
This popular park is nestled against the edge of the Seine. While nearby historical sites like the Louvre are on most visitors' itineraries, the gardens shouldn’t be missed. The site of the former Tuileries Palace, the garden has a long history dating back to the late 16th century. It was damaged badly during the French Revolution, but today it is full of grand statues, magnolia and elm trees, and an array of flowers.
