Terres dels Alforins is a wine region about 110 kilometers southwest of the city, which some call “Valencian Tuscany.” Many wineries in this region operate tours to the bodegas, where you can learn more about winemaking and sample the local products. You can even arrange to stay overnight in a traditional farmhouse. This area is also home to the Bastida de les Alcusses, an Iberian archeological site.
