It’s a 44-hectare nature reserve that has walking paths throughout and an ancient reserve of Pietra Serena, the stone that was used for centuries to help build Fiesole and Florence. It’s here where da Vinci is rumored to have attempted to fly with artificial wings, so as you walk, you might be retracing the steps of the great inventor and artist.
