Valencia

"Probably not very well known, but I really like this hidden little town in Castellón. At the top of the hill, you’ll find a Muslim castle, and inside the museum, there’s a great explanation about the history of Onda and the castle."
Onda is a medieval village 71 kilometers northwest of Valencia that’s accessible by public transportation. Many come to see the Castillo de las 300 Torres, a 10th-century fortress that had a palace added to it in the 11th century. There’s also an interesting windmill and an impressive medieval bridge you can cross. This town is also quite famous for ceramics and tiles, which you can learn more about in the Museo del Azulejo.
