Spanning post-Byzantine times up until the 21st century, art appreciators can head to the National Gallery for all things art-related. Apart from its Greek-related works, the gallery also owns a collection of Western European paintings, by artists like Picasso and Goya. With its combination of classic and contemporary, plus Greek and international artists, there’s a little something for everyone. (The main chunk of its collections are Greek artists though.) Works cover paintings, sculptures, prints, drawings, and installations.
