Centro, Oaxaca de Juárez

"One of my favorite museums to see local art."
This small art gallery near the Zócalo is inside a beautiful 17th-century building. It features rotating exhibitions that highlight local talent from Oaxaca and beyond. The art is contemporary, and it often leans toward provocative and thought-provoking. You’ll find work from all mediums, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, and photographs. Admission is free, but donations are welcome to keep the exhibitions running.
