Centro, Granada

"Admire the dramatic Baroque interiors of San Justo y Pastor, a church that dazzles with light and color. It’s a perfect example of Granada’s artistic exuberance in the 17th century."
Spot pieces of history from the 16th, 17th, and 18th centuries at San Justo y Pastor church. Its earliest foundations date to the 16th century, a popular period in Granada for demolishing/renovating existing buildings from the Nasrid dynasty. The parish’s entrance door is highly decorative, constructed from marble relief and Corinthian columns. Inside, the grandeur increases with its all-gold altar and high-reaching ceiling — both fine examples of Baroque design.
