"The largest market in the city and a local favorite, this spot is popular with restaurants and vendors. Here, you can find everything—textiles, pottery, food, clothes, and more—at prices lower than in the city center."
Oaxaca de Juárez Local

This market, the biggest in Oaxaca, opened in 1974. It’s always crowded and a little chaotic, but it’s a must for anyone who wants to dive into the local history, culture, and cuisine. The market, which covers 120 hectares, features stalls that sell local produce, pottery, crafts, and delicious cuisine that’s ready to eat. Best of all, the prices are cheaper than in the city center.
