This market is the busiest and most popular in Oaxaca. It’s not far from the Zócalo, so it attracts a fair amount of visitors each day. Even though it’s a bit touristy, it’s worth a visit to take in all the sights and smells. Take a walk down the Pasillo de Humo (Smoky Alley) to sample grilled meats made to order. You’ll find tons of food to try, so come hungry.
