"A medieval village built around a thermal pool occupying its main square, a rare example of how water directly shaped an urban space. While bathing in the basin is no longer permitted, the surrounding area still offers thermal pools fed by the spring."

Florence & Countryside Local

Restaurants, cafes, stone buildings, and general life all center around Bagno Vignoni’s main attraction: its thermal pool. Dating back to the 16th-century, the medieval village has preserved this hot spring—albeit you are not allowed to swim in it. If you are set on some healing waters, there are nearby hot spring resorts where you can float away. Other things to do here include a leisurely town stroll (discover the entirety of the village in 30 minutes) or a visit to Parco dei Mulini, i.e., the Park of Mills.
