Bagni San Filippo

Bagni San Filippo feels unreal at times, as cascades of sulfuric waters create white, almost “sticky” looking ripples over limestone rock formations. What you’re looking at is, in fact, natural hot springs, broken up by little waterfalls and rock pools. Surrounded by trees of the Monte Amiata woodland, it appears like a scene from a fairytale. It's open to the public, and the pools are completely free. The main pool here is Balena Bianca, or the ‘White Whale.’
