Oaxaca de Juárez

"A small town located 50 minutes from the city, highly recommended for its Sunday market, the largest and oldest Indigenous market in Oaxaca. The market is only open on Sundays, so don't miss it, and be sure to try the Barbacoa for lunch."
This village is 32 kilometers southeast of Oaxaca and is accessible by car or private transport. Every Sunday, it draws in people from all over who want to come explore its bustling market. Vendors from neighboring areas come to sell fresh produce, handicrafts, and more. You’ll also find a 16th-century Dominican church in town that’s most famous for its ornate baroque Señor de Tlacolula chapel.
