"A petrified waterfall with a natural pool for swimming and beautiful mountain views is located about 1.5 hours from the city."
Oaxaca de Juárez Local

Located about 70 kilometers southeast of the city, these calcified waterfalls are a popular spot to watch the sunset and swim in the natural pool. The name, which means "boil the water," refers to the natural mineral springs, not the water’s temperature. Due to sustainability concerns, the falls are limited to 200 visitors a day, so you'll need to plan your trip in advance.
