With no more than 15 sweet and savory artisanal delights to munch down on, Tapisserie is doing things right — in the most ethical sense. Simple pastries are made on-site, with special attention paid to heritage grains (from organic farms) and what’s in season. The same goes for dairy and grocery product ingredients. Tapisserie also serves ethically sourced Huista coffee from a micro-farm originating in Guatemala. The patisserie is opened by the team behind Michelin-starred Septime. Prices are a little on the higher end.
