This church is the main Dominican church in Florence. It sits across from the city's main train station of the same name. Santa Maria Novella was built in 1221, replacing another church from the 9th century. The interior has colorful stained glass windows and artwork from the Renaissance, including a pulpit designed by Brunelleschi and pieces from Botticelli, Lippi, and Masaccio. Admission is €7.50 with discounts available.
