On a nice day, a walk along the Arno River is a great option. Parco dell’Anconella is a bit outside of Florence’s center and it has a nice path for walking, jogging, and biking. Starting at Ponte San Niccolo and walking along the banks toward the east side is nice and flat. This park also has a 1:5 scale model of Bruneschelli’s dome that’s about two-thirds of its real size.
