Statuto, Florence & Countryside

"A children’s favorite, this eccentric collection of Renaissance parade armor located in a pseudo-medieval villa makes for a one-of-a-kind show. "
This family-friendly museum is located on Montughi hill on the outskirts of town. The private collection of wealthy collector Frederick Stibbert was donated upon his death in 1906. It contains more than 36,000 artifacts, including arms and armor from around the world. There are also collections of traditional porcelain and dresses, as well as paintings from Botticelli and Bronzino. General tickets cost €10.
