Statuto, Florence & Countryside

"Would you ever expect to find an English-style garden with temples and ponds, all surrounded by centuries-old plants? It’s a hidden gem waiting to be discovered!"
This lovely garden is in the Statuo area of Florence, outside of the city center. It’s part of the Museo Stibbert, a private art collection. Here, you can stroll the English garden that was built in the 1800s and enjoy the shady trees, or explore the temples on the grounds and admire the ponds and statues. The exterior of the building is decorated with ceramic family crests and is worth a second look.
