Centro, Granada

"A former 14th‑century Muslim university, now part of Granada University."
Now forming part of Granada University, during the 14th century, the Madraza was an Islamic educational institution for potential Nasrid rulers. Later on, it became the city’s Town Hall; however, its current function is the most befitting. It is the home of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Nuestra Señora de las Angustias. Like many of the buildings that survived from this period, the interiors and exteriors are jaw-dropping. The intricacy in the details of the ceilings and walls is much to be admired. If you’re here on a history expedition, you’ll seriously appreciate this one.
