La Popular is a small eatery near the Templo de Santo Domingo de Guzmán. It’s very popular, hence the name, so don’t be surprised if you have to wait a bit to get a table. Everything is authentic and affordable, so you’ll find just as many locals there as tourists. Tlayudas are one of the most famous dishes in Oaxaca and are one of the stars on the menu at La Popular.
