This is Portugal’s first botanical garden, which is located on the Palácio da Ajuda grounds. Constructed in 1768, it features over 5,000 species of plants and vegetation from Portugal and its overseas territories. Explore this garden for a while to find a greenhouse and an amphitheater for concerts. The garden is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
