Granada Local

Home to over 2,000 artworks centered around regional artists, artefacts, and collections, the Granada Fine Arts Museum was the city’s first-ever public museum to open. This was in 1839. One of the biggest categories is religious art, ranging from sculptures to paintings. Constructed between the 15th and 16th centuries, Jacobo Florentino’s (a prominent Spanish sculptor of the time) “The Burial of Christ” is one of the museum’s most sought-after features.
