From wine shop with a side serving of classic Tuscan cold-cut meats to a must-try restaurant in Florence for the city’s iconic Bistecca alla Fiorentina, i.e., the Florentine steak, Francesco Vini has been around since 1977. The rest of the menu follows suit in the classic Florentine selections, like chicken liver pate bruschetta, coccoli (fried and stuffed dough balls), Florentine tongue sandwich, ribollita soup, and risotto with lampredotto (i.e., tripe). It still boasts a fabulous wine selection.
