Step back into the 11th century inside the ancient Bañuelo — a preserved hamman, i.e., a public steam bath used for purifying and rejuvenation. Whilst you cannot bathe in any parts of Bañuelo, the original baths remain. These are cornered off, but you can see them, and it’s crazy to think how long they have stood the test of time. Another mesmerizing feature is the octagram and octagon-shaped cutouts allowing sunlight to filter through the building.
