Cinque Terre has more to offer than picture-perfect villages. It has 120 kilometers of seaside footpaths across 48 different hiking trails. It’s a two and a half hour train ride from Florence, so you can get up early and do a day trip, or plan to spend more time discovering the natural side of this famous coastal area. While many are free, some require the purchase of a Cinque Terre Card to access the hiking paths.
