City Center, Florence & Countryside

"You cannot say you have visited Florence if you haven’t seen the Duomo from the exterior. Located in the very heart of the city, the cathedral stands as its symbol and greatest achievement."
The Duomo Cathedral is the heart of Florence. It’s one of the largest churches in the world and dates back to the 13th century. Its recognizable exterior features red, white, and green marble with flowers, geometric figures, and a 19th-century neo-Gothic facade. You can visit the interior for free, but you need a ticket to see the museum, bell tower, or other features of the cathedral.
