The sweet smell of cocoa lures visitors into Arcádia — a chocolate shop that has been handcrafting luxurious chocolate (in different shapes and forms) since 1933. It’s any chocoholics Happy Place. Purchase a bar of milk and dark ‘wine chocolate’ or a milk chocolate with salted caramel and peanut butter rendition. All of the bars have hand-drawn sketches of various iconic locations and emblems of Portugal, from Porto’s La Ribeira to the Fado guitar to Lisbon’s Terreiro do Paco.
