Centro Historico Tour (6 Hours)
About This Tour
Mexico City’s downtown is rich with stories and secrets, with every street and corner revealing hidden tales. Lovers, heists, floods, treasures, and heirs—this area is surrounded by an incredible atmosphere, filled with unique heritage from different eras. This place holds deep significance for everyone in the country and the city. It is undeniably the heart of Mexico. Every event, whether for better or worse, has drawn the entire nation here. Since I was a child, I have cherished the cultural vibrancy of downtown—its flavors, colors, music, and the rich diversity of people from all races and countries. Itinerary: Our first stop is the Palacio de Bellas Artes, located on Av. Juárez next to the Alameda. If conditions permit, we can visit the interior and view the murals. Next, we'll head to La Casa de Los Azulejos on Madero Street. From there, we’ll visit the Palacio Postal on Eje Central and Tacuba Street. We’ll then walk along Eje Central to see the MUNAL and the Palacio de Minería. We’ll continue down Donceles Street and Madero Street, visiting various religious sites and historic buildings, including Templo Expiatorio, Templo San Francisco de Asís, Templo de la Profesa, and other notable palaces such as Palacio del Estanquillo, Palacio La Mexicana, and Palacio de Iturbide, before arriving at the Zócalo. At the Zócalo, we’ll explore the main square and flag, the Catedral Metropolitana, and the Palacio Nacional.
