Ciutat Vella, Valencia

"A hidden gem and one of my favorite places to explore the remains of the former Roman city of Valencia."
Slip into Valencia's Roman history with a visit to this museum next to the Catedral. Here, you'll find artifacts from the Roman period from the 2nd century BCE through the 14th century. You can view ruins like a shrine, old Roman streets, and baths. Moving forward in time, you'll find Visigoth funerary tombs, a Muslim patio, and the building itself, which was erected in the Middle Ages. Admission is €2.
