City Center, Florence & Countryside

"The most prestigious museum for sculpture in Florence is located in the medieval Bargello Palace. Not only does the museum showcase several Renaissance masterpieces, but it’s also rarely crowded."
This museum is inside Florence's oldest public building, a palace that dates back to 1255. It was once the seat of the chief magistrates and police but is now the most prestigious sculpture museum in the city. While there are several collections, the most impressive is the array of sculptures that date from the Florentine Renaissance. You'll also find artifacts like weapons, seals, fabrics, and more. Tickets cost €10.
