Mercado de Campo de Ourique

Established in 1934, Mercado de Campo de Ourique is an alternative market to the bigger and more touristy Mercado da Ribeira near the river. Even though it was remodeled in the '90s, much of the original architecture is the same. Visitors can check out the fresh, local products at the stalls before heading to the food hall to try typical Portuguese cuisine. You’ll also find various wines you can purchase by the glass or bottle.
