There are three options for reaching the highest point in the center of Athens known as Lycabettus Hill. The funicular ride is by far the most exciting, but there’s also the option to hike the 277-meter-tall mount or drive to the top. Once you reach the summit, enjoy a glass of wine or a bite to eat at its Orizontes Restaurant (open past midnight, the evening views are mesmerizing). Or, there’s the more casual Lycabettus Cafe for coffee.
