This museum is family-friendly, free, and located in the heart of Barcelona’s old town, Ciutat Vella. Here, you can learn about Catalan culture by seeing props and objects that were used for celebrations during the 14th century and are still used today. The museum offers traditional dance workshops, informational sessions, and performances highlighting the famous Catalan gegants and bestiaris — giant dancers and creatures that parade the streets during holidays. Note: The museum is closed on Mondays, from 1 PM to 4 PM Tuesday-Saturday, and has reduced hours on Sundays.
