La Saïdia, Valencia

"A great spot to relax or enjoy a beer at the kiosk in the middle of the park. It’s also a nice place to visit if you have kids."
This garden was originally built during the Taifa of Valencia, hundreds of years ago when the city was under Moorish rule. It was part of a palace built during the 11th century. Today, the former royal garden has fountains, pavilions, statues, and a small lake. Tropical birds and peacocks move about the park freely, so it’s a nice place to take children who are interested in animals.
