Jardim do Príncipe Real

This garden in the Príncipe Real neighborhood has many unique features. One is the underground 19th-century reservoir, which was in use until 1942 and features stone arches and vaulted ceilings. Another is a 250-year-old Juniper tree that provides shade for up to 20 meters under its leafy branches. Some amenities include a café, kiosk, local farmer’s market, fountains, lakes, and playgrounds.
