This green space is in Foz do Douro, the magical spot where the Douro River meets the Atlantic Ocean. It was built in the 19th century and has several different gardens adorned with plants and trees in all kinds of colors. As you stroll, you’ll also spot fountains, obelisks, and an old-fashioned gazebo. There are also several cafés where you can stop and smell the proverbial flowers.
