Subies is an horchatería in Ciutat Vella that first opened its doors in 1959. The horchata here is simple and delicious, following the same traditional recipe over several generations. Besides this tasty drink, this neighborhood horchatería also has a nice selection of pastries, including fartons. Subies started serving homemade ice cream in 1982 and now has more than 25 flavors, all made from local ingredients.
