Ciutat Vella, Valencia

"A small, family-run spot that’s been around for 125 years. They serve excellent horchata and chocolate, and for several months of the year, you can enjoy their buñuelos de calabaza (pumpkin fritters)—absolutely delicious!"
If you’re looking for authentic horchata, try this spot next to the Mercat Central. The same family has run this horchatería for more than 125 years. Even though it’s small, it’s one of the most popular places in Valencia to get an ice-cold glass of horchata. And don’t forget to order a couple of fartons to dip in the horchata and soak up all the flavor. Both the prices and the portions are very reasonable.
